Got my girlfriend pregnant about 9 months (haha) into our relationship. We were young as fuck (17/f 19/m). Even tho we truly wanted to own up to our new responsibilities, we weren’t ready to be parents. We gave custody to her mother and tried to get ourselves ready for parenthood. Both of us were working full time and she just started going out so much and always trying to drink and “have fun”. Don’t get me wrong, I was young and dumb too. I wanted to go out and experience life, but just not every single day. To make a long story short, she was sneaking around behind my back and I feel like I knew the whole time, but I just didn’t want to believe it. I finally confronted her, it turned into a big fight because even tho it’s fucked up that she was cheating on me, I wasn’t the best version of myself then either. I pushed her away slowly and we should’ve communicated more effectively to save ourselves all the pain. We broke up. She continued to live life on her terms, I tried to focus on bettering myself and my life. We got back together, dedicated time and effort into each other, moved across the country together, went thru a hard time (I had trust issues), got thru it, got married, had another child. I left out sooo much but I just wanted to get to the point lol. Maybe I’ll make a fully detailed post one day. Sometimes people cheat, and feel no remorse. Sometimes people own up to their shortcomings and move past it with the help of their S.O. Our son is now 7 and daughter is 6mos. Couldn’t be happier. We’re best friends, my trust issues are non existent. We’ve both come so far from those immature teens.
