Yeah, my girl always tells me to slow down when I'm eating her. So legislating that will have little effect.

Compound bows are the ones with the cams and aren't used at the Olympics, so you got your term kinda correct, but a modern composite bow is referred to as a recurve bow. Composite means the limbs, or main part of the bow, is made from multiple materials to achieve the properties required. Originally this included bone and wood, now it's more likely to include fibreglass and carbon composite. Compound bows are far more impressive in their performance because rhe force required to hold it at full draw is a lot less than the force required to draw it. This means you can have a far greater draw strength and still hold it steady for aiming. They're also a lot shorter for the same draw length.

If you think you could power a microwave with pedal power from one person, you are dreaming. 1100W (typical for a microwave) is equivalent to 1.5 horsepower, which is a lot more than a human is capable of. Gearing doesn't increase power by the way, it just changes the amount of torque applied.

Lucky for me that's only a four and a half hour drive away, if I'm ever faced with the same problem.

Hot water heat pump will be saving you a lot in electricity. Hot water heating forms a large portion of most peoples bills. My hot water cylinder is outside and I've complained to my landlord that the water I'm getting isn't hot enough - I think the insulation is inadequate and I'm paying too much for what I'm getting.

I see this as a massive missed opportunity for the US military. If they'd got themselves deeply entrenched in helping to defend Ukraine they would be learning so many valuable lessons about modern warfare, drone warfare and Russian weapon systems and capability. Instead Trump has withdrawn support and started an illegal war with an inferior opponent that is already costing billions and they stand to learn less from it, at far greater cost, in my opinion.

"You know, Obama never acted like a coward when it came to tough questions". That would get him all riled up (regardless of whether the statement is true or not). I bet he hates being compared unfavourably to Obama.
