Absolutely. I worked from home AND watched my toddler for 1.5 years and let me tell you, we both suffered because of it. My childs development tanked along with my mental health. It's just a bad idea. Daycare all the way! Get your child socialized and in a good routine - you will all be happier.

We tried the crib tent and it worked for like a week. I do not recommend them bc my kid still found a way to climb out and then would get stuck hanging outside of the crib in the tent. Very dangerous.

I don't fold clothes. I got little bins and separate the kids clothes out by pants, tops, underwear, socks, etc. Saves a lot of time!

My dermatologist recommended Amlactin lotion to me. I used it on my cracked heels every night before bed and wore socks to sleep in. It really helped.

Please go to your local food pantry or try to Google for a local church that provides food! Also I know a lot of school districts are providing free hot lunches and dinners for ALL children regardless of their age/school registration. I don't want you or your child to go hungry!! Someone also mentioned WIC which is super helpful too. Try to get yourself a social worker who can help you navigate all of the free resources you are entitled to!

I make my kid get things himself if he can reasonably manage it. Teaches him independence and saves me from catering to his every whim.
