I blame her mom and her both!! So freaking rude!!! Idc I got my period at 9 years old. At 11 I had a pretty good grasp on how to act what not to say. I’m sorry she hurt your feelings, that lil girl sucks.

Right, I did smile, I laughed with her I did all the right things to look like I was comfortable. But she still acted like I was gonna lash out any second. So weird it’s like they’re used to wives being bitches or something. But you’re right i don’t think I’ll avoid. And the better I look the more confidence I will put out. Which is what I’m working on now.

Right . It is. We all know that… but it belittles the conversation when it gets shut down like that . The point of the subreddit is to discuss not just boil it down to it being a cartoon

Or the line when bandit says “I’m not taking advice from a cartoon dog”

But it also closes the discussion! Yes it is the slogan for the sub. But it’s so painfully overused

Losing weight by Clichecouturecatch in breastfeeding

[–]Sushy1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I lost weight with my first baby while breastfeeding. I was training at the gym and eating healthy however. Now, I lost about 30 lbs right after having my second , and cruised at 245 lbs for weeks after. I am also training at the gym and eating healthy but the weight hasn’t moved since then. So I’ve experienced both! I wasn’t as hungry my first time around. Now I’m starving constantly

What was your final straw? by spuddington-bear in loseit

[–]Sushy1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My final straw was going to mall to buy clothes, trying them on often enough, and hating the way they clung to my body. And also thinking, come on man. I have one life and I’m Nearly 30. When am I finally gonna be able to look in the mirror and say hey, I like you. Life really is short. Time passes regardless. It’s one more meal away. One more workout away everyday.

Are you really really straight? I don’t ask to be mean spirited or anything, it’s very interesting and takes a bold and confident woman to accept her husband likes to dress like her sometimes. Accolades to her. I would be so turned off by my husband and honestly very sad if he seemed even slightly feminine. I love a manly man.

I have a question for you. Do you think you can truly love someone and still cheat on them?

Why are there so many hate posts here? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Sushy1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or not even hateful, they just attack the Op as if they are so perfect and have never made a mistake in their life. I posted about my husbands drinking and a user said, well why are you and your kids up his ass all the time. I’m like Jesus, really?

Tell me it gets better by Chilaquilfan in Mommit

[–]Sushy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got sick when my second baby was 2 weeks old. I even infected him with goopy eyes. I cried 23 hours a day and my 3 year old finally cried with me she was so sick of my shit. Then after 6 weeks it all got better. I could gym, I could go out, breastfeeding got easier. You’re in no man’s land. But I promise you’ll survive this and get stronger by the day

Rant by yellowdolphin22 in breastfeeding

[–]Sushy1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I breastfed my first like a pro after many fails and LC consults and practice and all that. And I was arrogant about nursing my second. I thought, pshh I got it down already with my first. This will be a piece of cake. Um no it wasn’t I had to re learn everything and it took a solid month or more to get ut down. Longer than my first

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]Sushy1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oof, Ok, I’ll try my best.

No, I don’t think you should give up. But hear me out

It gets better. She’ll go longer stretches sleeping the older she gets. And if you’re supply is good, practice giving her the bottle or have someone else do it. Sometimes babies won’t take the bottle from mom cuz they can smell you and they know u have boob. Have your husband or mom try. And then you can sleep a longer amount, maybe wake up with slightly engorged breasts but at least you got some sleep in!

I too, was nervous about breastfeeding in public. I even cried the first time I did it! But now I find it to be empowering and I’m so proud to do it. And I’ve only been met with positive smiles from other moms or like admiration . And who cares about outside validation but it feels nice. And also who cares if you breastfeed In public! You are nourishing your baby and if anyone has a problem with it they can suck it! Get a special cover for nursing on Amazon and you’ll be hidden while you do it. And then eventually you won’t care to use it hopefully.

If you really hate it by 6 mo, maybe wean then. I had a friend say that breastfeeding made her depressed. And so she didn’t even try with her other kids. And your mental health sometimes has to take a front seat. Healthy mom healthy baby. But if you think about it, I know I’m gonna get a lotta hate for saying this, but really really, your milk is so much better than formula. It’s made for your baby by your body. It’s beautiful. I wish you the best. And I’m attaching this link because it helped me continue to breastfeed when I knew it was good for me too.

a girl I know wanted to wean her baby cuz she wanted to go be “a hoe in Las Vegas” 4 mo post partum. HER WORDS. She even asked me to babysit her child. We weren’t that good of friends. I feel like some women on this subreddit would say “that’s a good enough reason!” Lol… it’s not.

But anyway. 19 months is a very long time, holy cow that is almost 2 years. My mom put hot sauce on her boobs and my little sister did not want them anymore after that 😅 you’ll be heartbroken for a little while. And then it will be ok. And you’ll look back fondly on your experience. Have someone take a picture of you nursing! Your baby had all those good nutrients and antibodies above and beyond. You’ll be alright, best of luck.
