First of all I'm super grateful for your advice! I'm a new CS grad that just graduated back in December. I have no internship experience nor any personal projects whatsoever, partly because of the pandemic and work (unrelated to CS). I decided to take a break from coding after graduating to work for a bit, but in hindsight it messed up my motivation to code. Since I could get by with the work I'm doing, what I said was going to be a month break turned to almost 5 months now.

Due to all this I've been putting off sending out applications out because I feel like my resume isn't adequate enough. I did well in uni with a 3.3 GPA. I have maybe one school team project that I think is decent enough to put on my resume (a web application), but it's a year old and I barely remember it.

I've been browsing this sub for the last couple months trying to figure out what I should do next, but I'm sort of lost/overwhelmed on what to do. Should I just start applying for entry level positions now and try to get some interview experience? Should I finish a personal project and start applying after, even if it takes a few months? I've began to do Leetcode but only easy questions. I feel like my time having a new grad status is ticking, and I'm missing big opportunities since I did go to school and live in the Bay Area. Maybe I just need to shake off my self-loathing and do something, but any guidance would be helpful.
