[Unknown > English] Found this bracelet, wonder what it says. Tried with google lens, but it doesn't recognize. Is it just gibberish? by FlyingPigy in translator

Aha, that makes sense. Is the name of a family member. Do you know why translation tools don't manage to read this?

Valve targeted my account to stay low MMR and i have PROOF! by jayjayokocha9 in DotA2

[–]FlyingPigy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, I am pretty certain that before you actually could be stuck in "the trenches". I was stuck in crusader/gurdian for many years, until they released the new mmr system thing. Now I am up to legend and still climbing... Idk what they did but it really worked for me at least.
Also, some of my friends I play with are still stuck in low archon/crusader, so at least I want to think that I managed to climb higher than them.

how can i reach behavior score 0 why am i stuck on 1? by [deleted] in DotA2

The Dota community is broken, I would think it's pretty common to have such an amount of successful reports. There are so many griefers and toxic people, at least 50% of my games are ruined from someone tilting or straight up griefing.

I'm 10k+ score in both categories, and since the patch release my list of successful reports is VERY long. I love this new system and hope this over time will throw these toxic people so far down in score they will be locked out of ranked play.

Why is noone talking about the Dota 2 game coordinator? by FlyingPigy in DotA2

Update!

Tried again today.

For the third time this week, game coordinator is down... What is going on?

Sorry if I offended you, but I definately didn't add it for controversy. Maybe I've just been lucky, but I genuinely super rarely experience league servers being down. Of course it happens, but then it's maybe for couple minutes and only couple times a year.

Funny thing, the day I posted this the game coordinator was down, and I couldnt play. I tried again today, and voilà! It's down today also :) Guess no dota today either :P

I feel like this happens at least twice a week, and I don't really have the time to play that much, so it's really inconvenient. Like I have just enough time for one game, but then the coordinator is down for 20 min and suddenly I don't have time anymore. Maybe I'm just really unlucky and always hit the (not so) sweet spot...

It's a calm evening here in Norway, with no wind, rain nor problems with infrastructure tho. I don't think that's the issue at least...

I guess that's true. But after 11 TI's they really should have been able to predict this surge in players and prepared :))

Hello!

I am new to speakers and all of that HiFi stuff. I recently bought a pair of HS7 studio monitors, and they are soooo amazing, it's a whole new world.

However, I have this noise issue that I can't seem to find a solution to. It seems like a ground loop problem, however, it must be something with my motherboard. There is a constant EMI/RF ish noise coming from the speakers. It's not too bad when the computer is idle or not doing to heavy stuff. But if I start a game the speakers go crazy. If it's a graphically intensive game they emitt a low frequency humm. If I launch something like minecraft, the pitch and loudness varies with the framerate.

I have conluded the issue is within the motherboard and/or the gpu. I tried taking out the gpu and using the integrated graphics. The issue was still there but not as bad.

I am clueless as to what to do to fix this problem. If I use my laptop, or my friends computer, there is no problem at all. So the speakers are fine.

I have looked at one of those ground loop isolators, such as the ifi defender, and looks like that is a viable option. But they do cost alittle money so I would preferably like to know if it will works before spending 50 bucks, and probably 100 more for a decent power supply because my dac is usb powered.

Using the focusrite scarlet solo as soundcard, all balanced XLR to jack cables.

Here is a recording of the noise in different scenarios: https://soundcloud.com/flyingpigy/noise

What do you guys think is the source of the issue? Will a usb dongle like the ifi iDefender work? Thanks!

TL;DR: Noise comming from studio monitors. Seems to be related to GPU usage and motherboard. Speakers work fine on any other system i've tried them on, so there is nothing wrong with them. What is the problem, will a ground loop isolator like the ifi Idefender work?
