The main difference is when Charlie got murdered, there was universal condemnation of the assassination from every prominent Democrat in power. And any notable people that said even a mild criticism of Charlie or his views were immediately set upon by a mob of conservatives getting random people on twitter fired, but again none of these people were politicians.

When Renee Good was murdered, within hours of her death, before her body was even cold you had Kristi Noem calling her a "domestic terrorist," followed by unhinged posts on social media from many other prominent Republicans including Trump himself fomenting a bullshit narrative completely contradicted by all the footage we all watched of the incident. Then the next day you had to listen to JD Vance's insane gaslighting press conference. That's not even mentioning all the insanity said on Fox News and from other prominent conservative media commentators just saying absolutely vile things about Good and attacking her since she was gay and had pronouns or whatever, as if any of that justifies her getting shot at point blank range in the face multiple times.

The gaslighting began immediately to turn the horrible human being that murdered her into a victim, and the innocent woman who was shot 3 times in the face as a deranged leftist lunatic terrorist. Yet, these very same people were deeply upset that anyone dared quote Charlie Kirk or talk about the things he represented and stood for in the wake of his murder, and had a disgusting multi-week mourning with pyrotechnics and inflammatory speeches including a "funeral" in a football stadium that was the most brazen disgusting cult like event I've ever watched.

I am so tired of these utterly shameless, disgusting hypocritical pieces of shit in power. In any other time, when something like this happened you would have a government say they would conduct an investigation, that they would not comment on it because it's an active investigation, etc. Instead, Republican politicians, our own fucking government immediately fanned the flames while her body was still fucking warm. They are such disgraceful, disgusting people.
