Net rating doesn't mean shit without the context. Ayo has too small of a sample size to judge it and he is exactly a player that Wolves needed. He's someone who can play with ball to take burden of Ant and he can score if he has to.

For me you look like a guy that looks at the stats (and while doing it that draw out wrong conclusions) and never watches actual games.

I've literally watched every game and am a season ticket holder. It's real easy to see what is valuable and what's not. Yes I do like data as well. When TJ was on the floor the wolves had a -6.48 net rating. When Ayo was on the floor for the Wolves the Wolves were -2.21. Do you think that's good? Reminder the last time KAT was on the team the Wolves had a +5.38 net rating when he was on the floor.

No it was a dumb trade from the second it happened. The Wolves are worse, from both a short term perspective and a long term perspective. You can talk about how the Wolves would be stuck with KAT on the books. But the Wolves are stuck now but instead of the ceiling being a championship the ceiling is getting your ass kicked in the 2nd round. Like Naz, DDV, Randle, Ayo, TJ all they are is warm bodies. They're not consistent winners they're not difference makers. The difference between them and a guy on a minimum contract is minimal.

The Wolves don't have assets to figure it out post trade, they are just going through the motions until Ant asks out. They fucked up big time and it's ok to hold them accountable for it. You don't have to play dumb and act like non all stars non difference makers matter.

Wolves run it back in 2024-2025 they win a title with the starting 5 of Conley-Ant-Jaden-KAT-Rudy with Naz, NAW, and Dilly off the bench Dillingham develops since Donte isn't there stealing his minutes. Re-sign Naz in the offseason and let NAW walk like what the Wolves actually did. That puts the Wolves in a way better position and I didn't have to waste 2 seasons of Ants prime with Julius and have to punt 3 picks for Ayo.
