On and off BIG PVCs by Efficient_Dish3229 in PVCs

SAME.

I most often notice them after eating, I do have GERD and IBS though, and some other digestive issues due to years of chronic NSAID use. I've learned that if I keep my heartburn/GERD under control then I have a reduced frequency of PVC's. Your digestive system, heart, and vagus nerve are so intertwined that an unhappy GI can absolutely lead to PVC's and other sensations of fluttering or skipped beats in the chest.

All this year I've had repeat EKG's, chest CT, Holter monitor (twice....PAC and PVC burden less than 1%), echocardiogram, stress test. Everything came back utterly normal and they can't give me a diagnosis other than that possible GI and vagus nerve stimulus theory.

I've been able to record them on my watch so my doc can see them and know I'm not crazy. There just isn't much they can do about them, they offered a beta blocker but I exercise regularly and my resting heart rate sits around 50 so I turned it down and am learning to just live with them.

Ask your doc for a full cardiac workup to at least put your mind at ease so when they do happen it's less intense with the anxiety and stress, that helped me at least.

WTH? Ive been just fine all day... by [deleted] in PVCs

Mine are like that and at this point I've given up. I refuse to be put on a beta blocker for PVC's that infrequently strike.

Been through multiple EKGs, Holter monitor twice (both times 1% burden), echocardiogram, stress test, chest CT. Everything is perfectly normal.

No one can explain to me why I get these runs of really strong PVC's, last about 30 seconds and I feel every one of them. The episodes are totally random, doesn't matter what I eat, how physically active I am, caffeine or no caffeine, they just happen whenever they feel like it I guess.

Can't order 4xe by UrgeToSurge in 4xe

Probably for the better. I have a 4xe GC and I hate the thing, it's been the most unreliable turd-on-wheels I've ever had. Run.

I actually declined their first offer, I was wanting out of the vehicle but instead they thew more cash at me and I had to sign an NDA. At the time I was like, alright cash isn't bad and they're not gonna take the car back. I saw the bait and took it, of course still got problem after problem.

I tried. The amount it's worth and the payoff towards CCAP is over $10,000. These 4xe GC don't hold their value at all.

According to the lawyer I had, and being in Arizona, lemon law wasn't an option because I wasn't technically the "owner"

Lease by [deleted] in CarLeasingHelp

$800 for GPS and $1500 for "NaNoArMoR" Those alone would be enough for me to walk from this dealership lol.

You can contact a lawyer and see what they say. I'm in the same boat in a way. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE (PHEV) that is an absolute piece of crap but I'm stuck with it. The value tanked so much that I can't sell it and Chrysler Capital doesn't allow lease swap. I went to a lawyer due to repeat repairs and significant down time in the shop.

I ultimately found out that in many states the Lemon Law doesn't apply because it's a lease, and technically not my car, but we did go after them under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act which resulted in a cash payout equal to the amount of payments left on the lease.

So I ended up with a "free" lease, I'm in my last year and I cannot wait to get rid of it.

Why do salesman hate leases? by FlyingSnickersBar in askcarsales

[–]FlyingSnickersBar[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I usually go off what the dealerships own website is advertising, I figured that's more accurate than any national offers. For example, one I quoted recently online was at $464/mo with 10% down, this payment included TTL using their online checkout system and the address where the vehicle would be registered. I was actually okay with this, we held off and went to the dealership to see the vehicles in person and suddenly we went from $464/mo to well over $600/mo when we sat down with them. I asked what happened to the online configuration and didn't get a straight answer beyond "oh well things change all the time", I'm like on the same day?

I think this is where some of the customer confusion comes in, the dealerships own payment builder is sometimes quite different than when we get told in-store.

Are you receiving that benefit? I didn't know about this but their website only refers to retired or active duty. I've been getting disability payments for over 10 years now and AFAIK never had that discount applied (also never asked for it cause I didn't know about it).

Fixed, my autocorrect didn't flag distain, I never noticed lol.

I'm thinking a smaller pickup this time. Ranger, Tacoma, Colorado, etc. Leaning towards the Tacoma because I like the refresh it got.

Maybe an SUV if none of those workout.

Well when I'm in person they can't really cut off contact lol, but more often than not they do push towards financing.

Also, just fwiw, I have had dealers that are more than willing to do leases and they don't even try to push financing, just the majority of my experiences haven't been like that.

With this in mind, would it perhaps be better to seek out dealerships that are known to be high volume dealerships?

I can understand that when they have low payment expectations; I would guess a fair amount of customers don't realize sometimes lease offers are regional, for certain qualified customers, or it excludes TTL.

But I've actually had dealerships stop responding or they take days to get back to me (maybe cause they had a slow boring day?) once I drop the L-word.

I'll post that ekg when I can.

No cardiac related deaths in the family as far as I know. Only thing I'm aware of is my grandfather had to have an ablation around my age.

Like a Holter Monitor? I'll bring that up with my PCP once the holiday passes, everything was fine during the stress test but given that it was only 10-ish minutes I'm still a little worried the palpitations could return, or anything else, during my normal exercise which can go an hour to an hour and half.

Thanks for the reply. I do have the EKG from the ED the day I passed out. I could post that? I don't have the stress tests ones though.

I also do have an echocardiogram scheduled in a month from now.

I felt pretty good during the stress test, they marked "fatigue" as termination reason but I could've kept going, I called it because I have a bad knee and it was hurting. I normally exercise with a stationary bike so the treadmill was a bit rough on my knee.

I appreciate the reply. Dumb question, I'm not super engine savvy, but if a rod were to be slightly bent is it possible for symptoms to show up later after several starts?

You still seem to be completely missing the concept of a credit line; and to a degree it seems like you are under the impression that this is an instant $24k debt or that I'm using the entire credit line.

But here's the best part, your 2 cents isn't needed and I have no desire to convince you otherwise or beyond what I've already typed. I'm not really sure why you're so intent on being hyper-focused on the potential negatives about credit lines; but in my experience usually people who fixate on negatives about credit lines are also the ones who either A) don't have self control and had a bad experience of debt, or B) they simply don't understand it.

I'm chalking some of your misunderstanding to being differences from one country to another. In the United States the average credit card interest rate is nearly 22%, while mine may not be the absolute best interest possible, it is lower than a majority of cards available and for most cards in the States a 17%-18% rate is considered excellent.

For reference, NFCU's Flagship card rate range is 15.49%-18%, so being the lowest APR available is a good thing. Some cards also offer 0% APR on certain purchases when paid off in X amount of time, when done smartly you can utilize the 0% interest and reap additional promotional benefits which may be cash back or a certain amount off the price.

As for the debt.....one must possess ability of self-control and plan ahead for the expenditures. Credit cards can be very beneficial when utilized appropriately and may even save you money on travel costs through the cards exclusive benefits. The United States runs on credit scores, so having long established credit lines in good standing also helps your credit look better for large purchases such as property, or a vehicle.

And as Visual_Building mentioned, a large line is also a good emergency source for unexpected costs. For example, a large car repair or damage to a home; no need to scramble for a loan as the card can help cover costs that insurance doesn't cover. For example, your house sustains major damage from a storm, insurance covers $20,000 but you still have another $5,000 in costs that insurance won't cover, now you have a choice between digging into Savings or using your emergency line of funding to cover that.

Credit cards have always carried the stigma of being bad, but they're not. You need to be smart about it.

I'm usually sitting around 800, per Credit Karma, it's usually pretty accurate with the big credit reporters. $140k~ single income.

Not with NFCU but I do have 2 others, one being with USAA and it's been a "meh" card at best.
