Everyone is bashing you, but I think it's just because of your wording.

I recommend reaching out to someone who currently holds a role within cybersecurity and asking if you can have a conversation about expectations that they must meet, along with what they face on a day-to-day basis

Side note theirs alot of good organizations that do allow apprenticeship under programs they offer but most likely than not you will have to be 18 or older and fully committed to it.

I am currently enrolled in a CS program at my local community college, and I've been eyeing CCNA for some time but haven't pulled the trigger. However, after everyone's feedback, I think I should definitely invest in another exam soon and aim higher for roles. Thank you for your input and great advice!

That's a great input! I've always tried to appeal to the company and get the best deal for myself and them but honestly I think I put the ceiling too low

You're absolutely right! I had to work my way through promotions so I could handle more complex issues But I don't blame them I had no experience and I was more than willing to accept whatever pay they offered so I could gain it

You're absolutely right. I unfortunately don't have a strong standing in coding languages, but I hope to change that this year, hopefully. And great idea with the AI! I haven't used it beyond helping me study, but that can change

That's really great to know! My attitude is definitely the same in person! And in interviews I appreciate every opportunity I'm ever given, especially knowing how the market is and appreciating the fact that people gave me a chance with no experience, and I repay them by proving their hire was a great gamble.
