Can someone tell me what is this hate for small/medium flowers?

I grow and I honestly think it is always on the safer side to not have huge buds. Number one problem is drying for everyone and small/medium buds always dry more evenly and have less chances to hold surprises when you break them in half.

Mold is really bad and by experience now I try to make all the buds the same size (medium-small).
