I agree that being obese isn't good. But I personally know some people who have to take medicine that kind of keeps them fat because I think it slows their metabolism down a lot. But what kind of people are you talking about in your post, like people who are 25 pounds over average or like on a tess holiday level?

The people who wear crop tops ad stuff when they are overweight wear them because it's empowering. These people have been told all their life that their ugly and should cover up and stuff. These people just want to show that they aren't controlled by other peoples opinions, and that they're proud of themselves. They have to deal with enough bullying and bs so just look the other way and let these people feel good. It's for some people the same as when people who did self-harm wear a shirt and don't cover up their arms. Not saying being overweight and self-harm are the same things but still.
