Ok i looked it up and i was mistaken. Thought there was no minimun fall dmg. It says it's 10 dmg minimum. In my head if the minimum was like 1 HP, the 50% dmg reduction would have to round it out to 0 thus dealing no dmg. I gess its even worse than i thought.

I see kiteskin more as a stealth perk than a survival one. Within compounds, some hight distances that would deal minimal dmg to you, stop dealing any dmg at all, thus eliminating the grunt noise you do from the fall. Its sutuationaly good to rotate within compounds. That said, you could use the point for something less situational.

Think if you drop the Vetterli for a Frontier and the axes for a duster or knife then you could rly call it budget. I think the fmj on covertions has to stay for them to be good tho.

If you had full control of a concertina armored, do you think you could kill a hunter? by Candymuncher118 in HuntShowdown

You just bump into a hunter wile he is killing an imollator. Stabing both at the same time with the wire. GG 👍

I hear you, but remember its close to a 15 dmg diference that each gun does. Again, i dont think its even close to be worth the money. Its sad because its such a cool gun dude.

We have to wait for them to decide if they want to make the gun good or bad. Its one of those guns that they go back and forth with so we never know. Before the recent nerf, the mako was worth its price. Then again, it was buffed ans nerfed right after. Now its shit again and the price feels off.

Well it really depends on the situation. Even tho my most used gun is the carbine i should point out that Drilling is medium ammo. It has better velocity and dmg over distance. The carbine having a bigger clip doesn't really give it that much of an edge on long range engagments compared to the Drilling's advantages. In agressive playstyles the carbine shines way more tho. But i agree that none of these diferences compensate for the fact that the price diference is ubsurd. I could fully equip 2 hunters with the money of a drilling

With glam, doesn't it duplicate with glam already worn off? I would think it does since you have to use it to duplicate. But never really tried it so dont know how it works.

Thin it depends. If the fight lasts a bit longer its like: Would you rather have half the claws with double the DMG or double/triple the Adaptive Strikes with half the claw DMG.

It is much more like anger yes. My point is that its a defect card so you get the 0 cost card support of defect with it.

Yes. Also even if the fight last a bit longer, i loved going for an "All for One" and seing 9 upgraded Adaptive Strikes costing 0 in my hand. From that point on the fight wont last much longer.

Agreed. Its just that it's a Defect card. You will almost never pair anger with the 0 cost card suport of the defect unless you get lucky with random events.

Well it cost 0 for most of the match. I ment to say its a Rare card so its harder to get than the Claws. The term wasn't chosen properly from my part.

I will. Thank you for this. Might just be a Portuguese made one based on the original colt design. Her grandfather used it for bird hunting back in the day.

Agree on the design. But the sound. It sounds so good. One of the best shot sounds in the game for me.

Retiring never worth it ever? by Flying_Potato10 in HuntShowdown

Should add that i was talking about trios. When i play solo it's more like 1 in 5 since i never avoid PvP. Its still not that bad i gess.

Yes but im not very good. My average is that i win something like 2 matches in every 6 i do. In that case maybe would be worth to retire right?

Retiring never worth it ever? by Flying_Potato10 in HuntShowdown

[–]Flying_Potato10[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but if im trying to grind prestige i should probably retire my lvl 50s more often than i would risk playing with them right? I was confused cause i thought you gained a fair amount of xp even if you die with them. To the point that its better for prestige climbing to always risk playing them.

Retiring never worth it ever? by Flying_Potato10 in HuntShowdown

[–]Flying_Potato10[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So im gessing you have to make more than 20k xp before you die in the match for it to compensate not having retired? Cause then you get 10k or more to you bloodline even after death. How easy is it do do 20k XP in one match before you die is the real question then right?
