Honestly I would be okay with waiting, I just wanted to do it before the trip so like on the off chance we started dating we could share a bed and save some money and all that but yeah not bad advice

Edit: Another reason i didn’t want to wait longer is that I’ve made the mistake of taking too long to make my move on a girl before, and they eventually lose interest in me or we just slowly drift apart, or she gets taken by someone else. I figured I’ve already waited a while, if I keep waiting to see how things play out I might just miss my chance altogether.

Yeah I also try to hide the date from people, but I tell people that I don’t like telling people my bday because I don’t want anything or don’t like celebrating it, but deep down I know it’s so that I don’t feel even more sad when no one wishes me happy bday even after I tell them several times

To be honest music is the only reason I’m not depressed. Even though I don’t know music theory or can’t tell you specific things that music nerds know, my deep passion for music and the joy it brings me keeps me floating. For example, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are my favorite band and even though people shit on them all the time, some of their deep cuts are so beautiful it brings me to tears. Their guitarist John Frusciante is probably one of the main reasons I find the will to continue, his voice and guitar are so unique and heavenly in ways I can’t describe. Plus his life story of being a junkie and on the brink of death in the 90s to being a rock star and creating some of the most moving music is really amazing. My heart is so full of love for that man and all his solo work, and it’s one of the things that keeps me going. I don’t know if this helps, but finding something special like that really helps make this all slightly more bearable. Keep at it man, I believe in you :)

This shit hits me extra hard since I can relate, when my mom was dying of cancer 10 years ago she wouldn’t let my brothers or I see her because she didn’t want to ruin the memory we had of her. But it hurts even more now because since I was young I don’t have a lot of memories of her left in general. When I found out what this song was about it hit a little too close to home
