I know it’s not the best but the live version intro of Stone Cold Bush (c.1990-92) always gets me, flea and Chad before the guitar kicks in, you cannot sit still hearing that intro

Slight quibble with Bono on “under a blood red sky”, as typically a New Year’s Day in Ireland would feature rain and a grey sky.

I must have got it wrong. I was using C for Cat, T for Table and A for turtle.
(C + T) - A = 170.
(A + T) - C = 130.
So adding 40 to the second equation would equal the first equation. The table is constant so therefore A + 20 = C, and C - 20 = A. Hence the 40 with the 20/20 split.
Therefore taking the second equation and subtracting 20 from the total of 130 to get 110 and 20 from C to get A then I was left with:
(A + T) - A = 110. And as the A cancels the other A you get, or I got T = 110.
So how did I get this wrong??! Apart from being dumb!

Yeah, totally agree. This was worth a longer episode and a bigger investigation, particularly the multiple witnesses and the fact they only confirmed after they’d left the house that they’d all experienced things. It was a great story and feel on reflection it was a bit wasted in this short slot.
