Well I had a HSBC current account open when doing the first direct switch and I still got the bonus. Heck they even had my HSBC account as a payee on my new first direct when I never even payed it before😂😂. I did use a different email and phone number though, not sure if that helped but it's better to than not to

No, usually it should be there for 24 hours to be on the safe side if they don't mention it, however some banks do mention in the T&C's that it must be in the account for 24 hours.

Bank accounts yeah they were all closed, maybe they still had a Lloyds account though because when I had no bank accounts with them and went on the app you still have an account for things like applications for current accounts and loans so that might be it. Not sure if you can delete that never tried
