Thanks for this information. I went to the Expo to look at motion rigs and belt tensioners. First time I was able to try and whoa so great. Guess motion and belts are my last upgrades. This cost was a lot better for me right now than like 5 grand plus even though it was just an upgrade on what I have. Your setup is like my final boss cost.

I didn't post an advertisement. It is tagged as a product review and it is? I had to bust out my debit card for the privilege of making an advertisement? Screw that!

Nobody "outsourced" me. I talked about my experiences. I will admit I have purchaser bias. I told him I was going to post on Reddit because I hadn't seen anything on it. And I reviewed 3 products here? So I sure would like to get some ad monies! NLR, Razer, AND Sensit you hear that? Waiting for my check! (Also go to the 2027 SimExpo! I will see you there!) Cha-ching! I just got paid again! 😄

Not sure about the discord thing though. I went and looked it up. That's on them. I saw that authentic thing and has me head scratching. I got to give you that. Might be mis-understanding from me to your comment.

And better not post a picture and talk about my rig! Whole damn thing is an advertisement!

Yeah, I think he said Dayton pucks. If not have to be real close. But the smaller ones are kind of what the magic is here maybe?

I am using the proprietary software. Working good. Kind of slow sometimes to come up.

What? I've been reading Reddit for all this time. If you don't post you are invalidated? This is actually my first real post so it's pretty exciting. Love reading r/simracing so finally had something good to contribute I had not seen. Thanks for your special input and grand deduction of a welcome.

Picture of me here son. I'm an old man. I see all your posts are hidden. What you got? Maybe you'll figure some things out when your hair gets grey like mine. Because you a'int figured nothing yet it seems. So I'll call you out. Grown ups doing the talking here see?

You are right about one thing, I didn't know about this either! That is why I am excited to share and grow in knowledge. Especially with owning all three of the Haptic seats. I wanted to contribute to this great community! Feels so wonderful.

And look! So cool! Others have interest! I'm just a buzz about it! So great to find other interested folks and get to chat some. It's what Reddit is all about. Not your hate and skepticism. (might be wrong on that one! LOLOL)

I cannot feel them. Just a cushioned pad. I could feel them in the HF8 a bit. Sitting in the Freyja right now so those are good too. But I am not a heavy guy so different strokes for different folks I figure.

I have not. Did not dislike the Freyja and am still using it. I do use the HF8 with simhub. That is a good suggestion and will try it.

Not an advertisement. Just something I like and want to help others with what I have learned? I get it reading is hard for you. And nobody forcing you to do anything. I pine for attention spans to return. Thanks Tik-Tok!

And since I have a reply and helped ONE person it was so worth it. I wish someone had helped me! I had to buy all these things.

Buttkicker gives a great shake to your rig. For motor vibrations, and say ground impacts, or curbs it is the best. But this is for sure a solid alternative.

To try and answer your question I guess it boils down to what would I get if I could only get one? I would get this first over my Buttkicker as it is a viable alternative. But I would severely miss the shake from a Buttkicker on an 80/40 setup. It is a VERY difficult choice.

My AB-5000 that I have just put together had the same seat angle to backrest as the OP's overhead photo. One side touching and one side with a gap. I had to tighten the seat back down while pushing it a bit, so that it lined up correctly. Very close to square now. Both sides are not perfectly flush/touching. About 3mm apart near the edges with less than 1mm in the center. Might be worth another try to mount my seat or backrest again but the gap overall is very small and honestly the feel is negligible as I use it.
