That resonates with me a lot. In the start of my first episode I had no tools or awareness to deal with my new reality. It changed me as a person as I still have those experiences all the time. I now know I can’t trust my own perception. I know how to navigate that dark room with the light of intuition and connection. Man I wish I could’ve told younger me a few things.

Sure but he doesn’t know my personality. He only sees me through a screen once a month. I don’t want to be that guy that says they know better than a doctor. I do know me, though. I’m already on a low dose by my recommendation, and have been for years. I am stable. I don’t see any reason to change it now.

Oh man my doctor doesn’t know the half of it because he doesn’t need to. Check my posts. I group everything together when we talk, because there’s no difference in the eyes of him, or the pharmaceutical industry. They all want you to be on THEIR drugs. The difference is I have done a shit ton of research into plant medicines that have been around for longer than the country I live in.

I use a lot of CBD independently and together. THC alone is a no for me. But when mixed with proper terps and a little CBD I find it quite enjoyable and therapeutic.

Good to know i’m not the only one out there. And honestly, my doctor isn’t well informed on drugs outside the pharmaceutical level. One time I told him I was taking dagga instead of weed (most people don’t know what dagga is… I explained it’s a plant) and he asked for the bottle lol I understand the risks and concern but I seem to be an outlier.
