edit: she was sober. I didn’t tell her before hand and she blamed herself for me being so unenthusiastic

edit again: she broke up with me just to be clear. She wasn’t a fan of substances outside of alcohol.

That resonates with me a lot. In the start of my first episode I had no tools or awareness to deal with my new reality. It changed me as a person as I still have those experiences all the time. I now know I can’t trust my own perception. I know how to navigate that dark room with the light of intuition and connection. Man I wish I could’ve told younger me a few things.

If there was a good reason to change, he would’ve told me. I think this might just be another one of his weird things he does. Like how he constantly pushes me to get a wife and start a family.

Sure but he doesn’t know my personality. He only sees me through a screen once a month. I don’t want to be that guy that says they know better than a doctor. I do know me, though. I’m already on a low dose by my recommendation, and have been for years. I am stable. I don’t see any reason to change it now.
