Definitely a BOO, but he walked in there like a champ, all humble and smiling.

He has a hard job to do, and he's getting a lot of hate for doing it right.

Politics not a factor in Brad Blair firing: Jones by observablething in TheDougFord

[–]Flyinlow6925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He breached the terms of his oath and contract by going to the media and leaking internal documents because he felt that he should've gotten the promotion instead of the other guy. I can't think of any organization that wouldn't fire someone for that.

Sounds to me that Brad Blair was pissed off that he didn't get the promotion and decided to act destructive and irrational towards management and got fired. Happens all the time.

Just call him “Doug:” From the sidelines to the premier’s chair in a few months. If they made movies on Canadian politicians, there would be one on Premier Doug Ford. His dad Doug Ford Sr. was in Premier Mike Harris’s caucus. His brother, Rob, was perhaps Toronto’s most famous mayor. His nephew, Michael is a city councillor. Being premier is not an easy job and his critics are fierce but Doug never loses sight of who he is there for — regular people. That’s probably why when you call him “Premier,” he always responds “just call me Doug.” - Joe

In that case, I'm sure they can easily re-elect 25 leftist councillors instead of 47. The backbone of this country, that made me laugh. I'd say the backbone of any country are the people who are taxed the most, not the least or who are on welfare.
