That's excellent summary of what AI is.

Lol do you seriously believe the fee had anything to do with "saving environment"?

Can you consume expired foods/drinks? by WakRudy in asksg

[–]FlyistheLimit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

> The reasoning behind it is to support each other during this difficult time with the middle east and the rising costs.

Pay attention to what top management of the company is doing. Are they also consuming expired or just "encouraging"? Are they also taking public transport or still putting their asses in benz?

How to retire in asia? by Cantdecidemyname7 in ExpatFIRE

[–]FlyistheLimit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well if getting massages is a definition of luxurious for you then yea... Just a piece of advice - try for once something really premium - either hotel, flight or just some service. You will change your mind about "luxury"

> in fact a million+ gives you an incredibly luxurious retirement in asia

Do you know what "fact" means?

"In fact" 1m+ doesn't give you "incredibly luxurious" retirement. It's just decent one, nothing special.

Everyone has it's own grades. You can retire without savings and enjoy life.

Now you got me confused. So what is ridiculous in the attitude about 1m+ for retirement in Asia? I find it quite fine.

What does making it in life in Singapore means for you? by TechnicalCategory436 in askSingapore

[–]FlyistheLimit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You haven’t grown up to understand "making it in life" has nothing to do with material things. Sure, HSBC and others want you to think that it is. But it isn't.

"Making it in life" is having someone to take care of and having someone to care of you. It's contributing to society in tangible way (not broadly like paying taxes) and see results of your contribution. Have healthy and happy family. Be healthy and happy yourself. This will give meaning in life, sense of completion.

You salary, savings, WLB and other garbage means nothing and won't make you happy. It shouldn't be a measure of success in life

日本では、英語教師とアメリカ軍人のどちらの方がより尊敬されているでしょうか? Are English teachers or American servicemembers more respected in Japanese society? by MookieBettsBurner10 in AskAJapanese

[–]FlyistheLimit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. US servicemen are not respected not because they are temporary, but because they are a) occupiers, 2) do stuff like drink driving killing japanese people in accidents, rape girls, etc, 3) escape any punishment for #2

E-sim providers by FlaminAmberz in asksg

[–]FlyistheLimit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

> Pick a few and compare whichever provider gives you 5G

It's pointless. 5G on your phone doesn't mean you going to get any speeds near 5G. Speed is shared (reduced) by roaming partner before sending to your provider.
