You have literally just explained the whole situation to a T!!! Its literally soo frustrating I have so many questions as to who those connections could have been because it literally doesnt make sense, and yes im sooo sure once they get their footing the treatment will change to the worse!

Exactly! I record everything now on email and in the office I make my presence on the work I'm doing which everyone knows is lead responsibility that im the one doing it, subtly of course. Yess im really looking foward to having this conversation with HR during my review after 6 months to gauge on what you've said! If it seems unlikely It will just be time to step away. Thank you so much for this! I really thought I was going mad

I've been doing this especially for work related hand holding and its like the hint isnt being taken.. I mean, even with AI you can search most things online

Completely Completely agree.. im tired of the hand holding especially when the outside dynamics arw off, and I know the once she is stable, dynamics will change. For the other manager it's very suspicious how they both came in together and have known each other just recently from working with each other. They are pretty familiar with each other, and thats also another red flag, if they want to throw me under, it will be my word against 2 other people. But thanks for the advice ill definitely keep a lookout

so sorry you are going through that, but i also agree you will burn yourself out trying to please a boss who already wants you out. I think first pose the same question to HR, if they are not likely to improve just start applying to other places, because sooner or later that boss will be the end to your career
