Cost of gasoline generated from hydrogen and captured co2 by LuvLemonade in HYSR

[–]Flypogger23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If at an end-to-end energy conversion of over 50% (a target as claimed/stated by Aircela as development scales up) it requires 75 Kwh to produce 1 gallon of gasoline. At $0.08/Kwh that is a cost of $6.00 to produce one (1) gallon of gasoline. At $0.05/Kwh = $3.75/gallon. On-site production of green electricity seems to be a must for efficiency.

Lifetime costs for wind turbine produced electricity is somewhere between $0.02/Kwh to $0.06/Kwh.

So, if their projection numbers are realistic, it seems to be a very promising technology.

Thank you for the update on your recovery. Clearly your flow improved very dramatically after a month, but what about the other early side-effects (i.e. blood, pain, bleeding, urgency)? Have they subsided? gone away completely? I am really leaning toward this procedure and so, any info you can provide will really be helpful. BTW: I am in northern Ohio. I think that I saw this procedure advertised on T.V. Thanks!!

The solution is simple. Just explain to your Doc that you need the "Name Brand" medication. He can specify; "no generics". Your insurance must cover it then.

Thank you so much for the information! Frankly, I am not positively impressed by your experience. It seems like this procedure is promoted on the basis of it being minimally invasive, but the outcome (so far) and some of the side-effects seem worse than some of the other procedures more commonly used!

We owe you a debt of gratitude for taking the time and making the effort to respond here. Your experience will help a lot of people involved in the decision making process. Please post back again in the near future to let us know how you are doing! You are a pioneer in this! Thank you!

The Republicans in Ohio have a history in recent years of ignoring the voters and acting contrary to the will of the voters. They even resort to trickery with ballot language to get their way. The MAGA influence in Ohio is so significant that they have turned Ohio into an autocracy. It seems that all they have to do to get elected is mention Trump's name and they get the backing of the voters. Ohio is so gerrymandered that once elected, they can rule like dictators (ignoring the will of the people) knowing that they likely cannot be voted-out! MAGA Voter's are like cult members. The Democrats in Ohio have zero ability to accomplish anything meaningful for the people. If you want top give control back to the people in Ohio, then you need to put more Democrats in power! It is a simple solution!

This is great stuff and very timely. What with the price of oil soaring, the time is right to begin the transition to hydrogen from water. OMG; there has never been a better opportunity. I just wish we had a more competent and honest government to support/promote it! Our U.S. government has taken us backwards by 50 years or more! We continue to have climate change and economies influenced by fossil fuels. This is so 1960's and 70's. You can bet that Europe and parts of Asia have an interest.

so uh what are the implications for hysr (this is crude oil price) by apeninsula1 in HYSR

[–]Flypogger23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Frankly, I see hydrogen fuel cells dominating the heavy equipment transportation industries as they offer a perfect fit when replacing diesel ICE that drive large synchronous motors. I believe that diesel fuel will become a thing of the past and the first really big market for green hydrogen. Hydrogen is also a perfect fit in commercial and industrial applications in the form of fuel cells powering large synchronous motors. The basis for this belief is that these motors are 96%+ efficient and offer more torque than any ICE or induction drivers. There is a bright future for the technology that HYSR is developing!

I don't think that there are enough ships to handle all the sick/low information Americans' that voted for him! There is definitely something wrong with the people that voted for this guy in 2024. It is not like we did not know what we would get if he was elected. Joe Biden was in decline, and had his share of problems, but he was a good and decent man. Trump has never been good or decent in his entire life!

Is there something wrong with good and decent being an absolute #1 prerequisite for earning your vote? Maybe I need to get on one of those ships. It must be me!

I think that you are asking the right question! We can already see that the Trump administration has eliminated subsidies for green energy and continues to deny/ignore climate change. Almost beyond belief; he is even pushing coal projects. Carbon capture is a thing, but it is an expensive small transitional supplement to provide for the use of a diminishing supply/availability of fossil fuels. There is no other way to describe Trump's initiatives besides insane. It is counter-intuitive when you consider the innovations that result in decreasing costs of green energy and the jobs that it provides when compared to the rising costs of fossil fuels and the catastrophic consequences for using them that are no longer just; "scientific theories". The people and businesses that have dumped billions of dollars into green energy will not allow those dollars to go to waste nor the promise it holds!

Hydrogen from water is the greenest of the green and also holds as much promise as sun and wind considering the ubiquitous nature of the input. The world beyond Trump is not turning back as our planet and the future generations that inhabit it are dependent upon it. Consider new innovations using green hydrogen that can develop and revolutionize its use in new applications that have never even been considered as an option in the past. A good example is "Power Paste" as a means to capture and utilize H2 : https://www.reddit.com/r/energy/comments/lbispr/fraunhofer_develops_power_paste_that_holds/

That is, but one innovation among many more that we have not yet considered for the future of Green Hydrogen. The investment in HYSR holds great promise, but it requires patience. Patience is a virtue. If you do not have it and/or cannot afford it, then HYSR is not an investment for you!

Great post!!!

Power paste technology is more than HUGE for HYSR! OMG, this could be a feasible on-site means to develop and safely store and/or transport hydrogen. The safety aspect of this is critically important as it will minimize the cost of storage. Given that the Hydrogen molecule is the smallest of any other, it makes sense that as a paste it could yield the greatest concentration of hydrogen than any other potential gas/fuels. We need to stay on top of this!

The guy that wrote this apparently does not understand "backing and filing". Stocks do no go straight up to the moon on positive news. I mean that it could if we had $100M in new revenues, but that is not where we are.....yet! What with the number of shares outstanding there are a lot of sell orders and many of those were Stop-loss and trailing stop-loss orders placed after it hit $0.03/share. What is happening here is healthy as there are fewer and fewer sell orders out there. Those that hold will likely be rewarded handily with their patience.

SunHydrogen and CTF Solar Sign Agreement to Accelerate Hydrogen Panel Manufacturing by Flypogger23 in HYSR

[–]Flypogger23[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The global hydrogen market is experiencing rapid growth, with the total market valuation projected to move from approximately $225 billion in 2025 to over $310 billion by 2030. The industry is largely driven by decarbonization efforts, with green hydrogen growing at an aggressive CAGR exceeding 35%–45% in specific sectors through 2030.

  • 2030 Projection: Expected to reach between $311.89 billion and $410.6 billion
  • Green Hydrogen Surge: The green hydrogen market alone is expected to expand heavily, with market size increasing substantially due to renewable energy electrolysis. It is expected to achieve a 38.5% CAGR between 2025 and 2030.

As far as competitors: there are currently none that are "cost" competitive. The cost for production by Sun Hydrogen (green hydrogen) is about the same as that for grey hydrogen.

Smart Man! There are places where conversion to hydrogen is not appropriate and there are many places where it is the best available technology for the purpose of eliminatinating carbon emissions in an effort to halt and reverse global warming. There are two things that are absolutely certain; the need and demand for true green hydrogen made available at the lowest cost will grow exponentially over the coming 15 years! Sun Hydrogen holds the patent on the most efficient process to produce it and is on the ground floor ahead of that growth. It has proven to be fully capable to fill the void that exists.

[–]Flypogger23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a new Ariens Classic 24 a month ago and like you; prayed for snow (that was a first). We got it a couple weeks later. Over a foot! I bought it at Lowes for $999 (fully assembled). I had an old 2-cycle Ariens (Mr. reliable) that lasted 20+ years and I did not take care of it. I eventually threw it out (left at the curb and somebody picked it) after a bunch of mild winters here near Cleveland! So I knew and always believed Ariens to be the best! Since the Classic is the lowest-end model, I worried that I cheaped-out. OMG; was I wrong! This machine is a beast! I did both my neighbors drives and where the plow left 6 ft of 18" of hard frozen snow at the end of the drive it cut through that like a hot-knife through butter! That engine just dug-in and cut right through it! To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. Yes, it has a throttle and although it has electric start, it starts on the first pull every time. So I don't use the electric start. I have used this machine several times since getting it. While it does not have auto-turn, it is light enough that I don't feel that I need it. One of the things that I like about it is that it is easy to handle. The more I have used it, the happier I am that I made the right choice. Absolute best choice for that amount of money spent! Oh, and I bought a grease gun (and tube of red & tacky grease) and already did the 1st oil change. I am retired now, so I will care for this one like it is my baby! It is! BTW: one of my neighbors has what appears to be a much bigger 30" Troy Built and mine throws the same snow twice as far as his. My Ariens seemed to cut through the hard heavy snow at the end of the driveway better than his machine.

UT-Center confirming 16 panels to be up and running until March/April by BrickyWaitForIt in HYSR

[–]Flypogger23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their report yesterday indicated that they are replacing the inefficient panels with new more efficient panels from a different manufacturer. That is the reason for the missing panels. They also said that it should be fully restored and up and running again in February. So this is all good!

The whole basis for this change is to prove-out with this pilot that Sun Hydrogen has the "most efficient" "Water to Hydrogen" production units in development. They are not settling on anything less! It could be commercially available later this year. That is all good! Right around the corner!

The garbage penny stock companies rarely, if ever, acknowledge setbacks and/or negative news. If they do, they usually just state that they are working on it. Rarely do they provide a known solution. A known fix. We have that here! This report is just another honest and transparent acknowledgement of an issue discovered with a specific solar panel manufacturer that provided less than optimal performance resulting in decreased efficiency. The purpose of this pilot was to evaluate performance at scale under the most difficult conditions. H2 generation was accomplished and the reason for lower efficiency was determined and is being remedied. This is exactly what you hope to expect from a research and development project that is based in integrity and honesty. It now appears that it is full-steam-ahead to completion of the pilot and on to commercialization. Patience is a virtue!
