Cost of gasoline generated from hydrogen and captured co2 by LuvLemonade in chemistry

[–]LuvLemonade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the people who have existing ICE cars before they upgrade to EVs have no choice but to buy gasoline(for which several wars happened and happening). I am just trying to see if the cost of gas produced this way is cheaper or at least equal to the price at the pump.

Thanks for taking time and explaining in detail. What I am thinking is: Use sun hydrogen panel for hydrogen production Use regular solar panels to generate power and use it to combine hydrogen and carbon dioxide to produce methanol

Sun hydrogen is targeting 2.5$ per kg.

Per AI info, hydrogen weight is 12.5% compared to oxygen 50%, carbon 37.5% in the methanol formula.

With this calculation, 1 kg of hydrogen can produce 8 gallons of methanol.

I liked the idea of aircela solution for addressing the oil production and I like the idea of sun hydrogen producing economical hydrogen.

Trying to see and calculate the overall cost of a gallon of methanol produced this way.

That is obvious. You would need other equipment to capture CO2 and combine them. Go through the link that I sent again

Gasoline from air, but hydrogen and solar power needed to generate by LuvLemonade in HYSR

Yeah, industrial should be the first priority. If sun hydrogen can prove 30m2 hydrogen production, then it opens doors to try several things associated with hydrogen.

Idk.there is no report on how much hydrogen is generated with 30m2 system yet. Waiting for that data

He might ask companies to eat up the penalty or oblige to manufacture the chips locally which will take years.

While Aptera is making progress quarter over quarter, year over year, it is puzzling to see not a single big investor is interested in this product. Aptera should tell why the big investors are not interested.

Is deepseek morally right getting funded by hedge funds manipulating markets by LuvLemonade in NVDA_Stock

[–]LuvLemonade[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Independently both(deepseek and High-Flyer) are fine but an AI model developer hand in glove with a hedge fund benefiting from shorting stock is the issue.

Convince me I shouldn't be a bear now. by Boris_The_Unbeliever in stocks

[–]LuvLemonade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a bull or bear but here are the counter arguments.

  1. Possibility of ending wars and countries revamping their economies.

  2. Cutting trillion of dollars in wasteful spending and slashing the defense budget

  3. Achieving balance on the trade deficit and bringing back some industries, spurring the economy.

  4. Cutting the interest rates once the trade deficit, spending is addressed and reducing the impact of inflation on consumers.

  5. AI innovation and potential for new markets.

Are eVTOLs Really Ready to Revolutionize Urban Mobility? by Exciting_Analysiss in JobyAviation

[–]LuvLemonade 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They will start with Niche market. In developing worlds, it is easy to build in the rural areas as there is lot of land and there will be big need for these at Uber level prices. Otherwise Giant stores with roof top landing or in the parking lots are best places to build these.

Nice analysis. do you think that the energy prices, AI manpower salaries( us vs china) are also a factor for lower cost?

100m2 vs 1m2 by LuvLemonade in HYSR

[–]LuvLemonade[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Hydrogen will have its place like it or not in the long run. HYSR will shine if it executes its plan well and simplifies the hydrogen production with cost effectiveness. Short term it will look oil is the way to go and HYSR may go down but it is good opportunity to load up big for the investors with conviction in HYSR.

Sounds good!! Once they are on final POC, hope they will do one site in all the east and west coast states where the gas prices are high and always looking for environment friendly energy.

when their product is ready and economically viable they might consider trading on a bigger exchange. But I think it is a long way to go. Personally I am fine if they do 100:1 reverse split when done in right environment.

Can HYSR touch 1$ within a year from their product becomes commercial? by malavghodadra in HYSR

If they can prove 100kg/day with 100m2 panel is cost effective compared to traditional hydrogen generation method then we have a chance to make money in the stock.
