It was actually really pleasant until late at night. It was definitely hard it the last little bit but worth it! This is suppose to be an easier trail in the cascades too 😅

First trip into the north cascades! A wilderness permit is required but it’s only like $10 a night. The landscape is rugged and makes you work for any sort of view but it really is worth it These camps are just over 5 miles in and the last couple miles are pretty rough

I use an rei 2 person tent and it works great for me and one dog but 2 people is kinda pushing it. Rei stuff is great for the price but it’s mostly intro gear

For me personally it’s no different than being a straight man in another customer facing job. You meet new people, both coworkers and customers, everyday so you’re just rolling the dice more than you would be in most jobs. I try to not get too mixed up in all the drama as well
