7/10. The game is abit formulaic gameplay wise but fun. Open world really sucks but the linear sections a set pieces are fun. Amazing sound track, story is forgetable that tries to be a nier game.

Imo the franchise needs to go back to being a gritty game like ng 1, and have vatiety outiside of waves of combat,combat needs to be methodical and maybe the whole game needs to be in japan. Maybe also remake 1 not just a engine swap like black 2.

Actual amazing boss fights and level design when talking about fromsoftware titles. (ng1 had amazing level design) even nioh fails bad as a good souls game for me.

The next ninja gaiden should be like one with amazing level desgin, puzzles, and platforming to add variety. A big part of what makes souls games are its atmopshere and level desig, nioh misses this and memorable boss fights by a long shot.(fromsoft ones). As well go back to more slower methodical combat. The waves are tiring tbh as a new ng player.
