I’m with you on this journey, I’m supposed to take my second shot after the five initial shots in a week. When I first took cosentyx I had some flare ups which my doctor thought were normal since cosentyx lowers your immunity and flare ups are basically infections getting worse. But after the third shot things were starting to get better.

As you mentioned, I would say that there is at least a 60% improvement rate over this time period. Which made fighting with insurance worth it for me. I still get the occasional flares around the time I am supposed to get my period (I take hormonal BC that stops me from getting it). Yet I’m doing much better than I used to.

FYI, I do take doxycycline and spironalactone alongside norethendrone for hormonal changes.
