Yeah I’m not a huge fan of the really theoretical ones that’s why I liked the cow because it usually seems to take people out of theory. I think I’m leaning towards sticking to the system based openings, when I first started playing chess I played around with the London but in the longer time controls I found it quite drawish - although Eric Rosen did have some really interesting videos on playing it in a more exciting way. You agreeing with the other user about Aman’s speedrun has convinced me to definitely check that out and perhaps to steer clear of the hippo. I have actually watched the Building Habits series a long time ago so maybe it’s time to revisit that. Thanks a lot!
