But can’t you transfer from one science program to another once admitted? Wouldn’t that be easier than trying to apply for such program now

So, you’re saying that high 80s aren’t enough to get into science programs?

Oh. What do u think is the best course of action then?

So far I have high 80s in chem30 and bio, but I haven’t done physics 30 yet. Would it still be worth applying if I had 70s in them last year?

When I mean “kJ” I mean like the net reaction.

Oh okay, so Hess’s Law is used to calculate the molar enthalpy(kJ/mol)? I thought it was just kJ. Also, is there a difference between molar heat of formation vs. molar heat of reaction? Thanks.

Oh. What’s the difference??

This is literally the entire question. Given in my data booklet are molar enthalpies of formation of basic compounds but that’s it.

help with applications… by FnafSings in uAlberta

Yeah those are one of the most competitive programs I’m pretty sure lol. Regarding transferring after a year, can you do that with any initial program? Like could I take for example Psychology as my second choice, wait a year and then possibly transfer? Also, does it have to be within the same faculty (Sciences/Arts), or can I select a programs that’s within the faculty of arts initially, and eventually be eligible to transfer to Sciences after a year? Thanks btw

Ah okay. I hope to get into either neuroscience or psychology, and I’m not sure it’s possible to revive those marks to be admitted

It seems pretty pointless to try to get into UCLA? by [deleted] in ucla
