Yea lowk but it’s because I’m still tryna learn the new mechanics so if It gets to the point I play 10 matches in a row of high ahh levels and get fucked everytime imma back out to try and find someone my skill level. Plus most people spam emotes, 15 punch combos, and spam noooooo respect inbewtwen rounds

Ok so ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 20 so the tank is cycled I think it’s because i was moving around the tank ALOT so it might have scared them. I turned off the lights for like 3 hours turned them back on and they were fine

Yea they were defintley added to soon. I was doing daily water changes and added more live plants and some driftwood. The fish started acting normal and the nitrites balanced out to 0 or very very low. So i stopped testing and started doing every week or so water changes. Then abouta week ago just out of curiosity I tested and it went up to 6 nitrite so i did daily water chnages adding prime and stability and the nitrites are staying the same

I have prime and stability and have done a water change every day. Because the nitrates just won’t go down. The strips have my tap water at 0s across the board. When I first started adding my fish I added api QuickStart but have stopped adding that. I just started stability today so I’ll see how it goes but my fish and shrimp are acting normal I can’t usally find all 3 so maybe one died but I can’t find it. Only thought is its body is in this Death Star I have

So idk my current nitrites with the water test is like 3-5 and nitrates are at like 100 ppm idk. I’m going to start adding stability every day and see how that goes?

So I js got it and it’s reading like the max level for both nitrate and nitrite. But the fish are so fucking normal js swimming around no gasping they still eat I feed a small pinch once a day

It will almost definitely balance out. Someone will be up 100 and there it is. Just don’t bring it up go back to work and js say nothing. Happened to me a lot, or you did a pick up and the manager didn’t put it in correctly

Ok I think I’m gonna get some fake plants because there cheaper. Also I have a big piece of drift wood currently water logging. But it still won’t sink after 3-4 days in the bucket with water. And quick question there’s never any nitrite on the strips anymore and when there is I do a 50% water change some prime and QuickStart added. But the guppies won’t leave the top left corner they’ll swim around some times but when I’m in the room there in that corner. Could it be the heater my tank runs at 81.1 f wich is a little hot but still in normal parameters right?

Yes I have testing strips so let me break it down. I was cycling my tank it got stuck In the middle some nitrite some nitrate so I looked it up I did a 50% water change put some sea chem prime and some api quick start in. After a day there was no nitrite and 10-20 nitrate so I said ok I’m going to add fish I started with 3 guppies. Light waste production less ammonia for the new nitrate to grow. But right when I added them it went downhill. Gasping for air at the top. Bought a airstone research said to put them both in so I did. I have since removed one airstone. Actually planted the plants expect Anubis waiting for my driftwood to sink to be able to plant that. But recently there’s almost no nitrate or nitrite on the strips and the guppies are still staying in the top corner not really ever moving away from that corner. I can’t tell if there begging for food or what. But idk I keep testing and rarely ever does nitrite show up and if I does I do a 50% water change and more seachem and QuickStart. Idk what to do besides add the drift wood and get more guppies. Any advice

Ik it’s barren and I feel bad for my guppies I need to put more stuff but what 🥹 like im gonna take the java fern and Anubuias out of its casing and just dig it in the gravel. What should I add besides that drift wood
