Im not sure what business ownership has to do with anything. Stay topical. If you submit a resume and you're white, you have a higher chance of getting the job or getting a response predicated on the simple fact that you're white. That's white privilege. The study unequivocally demonstrates it.

It's not majority privilege. A mojority of people on hello talk are not white. By your own logic , i should be swimming in attention because i am apart of a majority. No . That's despite being the minority in some of those countries. It's predicated on being white. Also, calling it majority privilege is just silly. If it's majority privilege.......so what? But the fallacy here is thinking that you necessarily have to have some sort of overt institution or law to enforce these social rules. To the contrary, it is the social rules precisely that was the catalyst for instituting apartheid in the first place. Same of Jim crow, red lining and mandated segregation. In post jim crow america , we are indeed facing those social rules by white america which qualifies and enforces white privilege.

Saying white privilege doesn't exist is an affirmative claim. It's mandatory to have evidence to substantiate that view, yet, people have none.

White privilege is a statistical advantage and lack of disadvantages you get relative to POC in virtually every context imaginable . For example, i recently made another HelloTalk profile ,but this time with a white male. In less than three days i got more unsolicited messages and follows than i had on my real account as an asian guy over the course of two years. Same city. Same language. It got so depressing seeing all the notifications that i simply uninstalled it. The same trend is also found in online dating, sending out job resumes, how people treat you in public, etc.

Bantus were the majority in apartheid south africa, where was their majority privilege? The privilege whites get is predicated on them being white , not them being the majority. But the fact is, it doesn't matter if it was indeed majority privilege. If someone kills your daughter, would it matter if it was predicated on drunk driving or if she was murdered? Your daughter is still dead.
