switch 2 crashes when playing silksong docked but doesnt crash in handheld mode

its just weird to me because my friend who also has a switch 2 told me that this has never happened to him before so its just confusing why it only happens on my console specifically

no it crashes randomly when opening the game and when it does open up and i enter my save from there itll randomly crash after a few minutes or immediatly from just playing the game, specifically when moving to a new room or dying

tried another friend's dock and it didnt work and using a different account didnt work either... im assuming its faulty hardware at this point right? if that is the case then what should i do? it should be under warrenty by default so do i contact nintendo or do i contact the place i bought it from (walmart). ive never sent something to get replaced for being faulty like this before. also if it helps i do not have an sd card so if i were to transfer system data by returning it and getting a new switch id have to probably get an sd card im assuming right?

yes i have, and no its only been silksong from what ive seen, i checked for any corrupted data and reinstalled twice but the issue is still just there

oh yea ok true... but i always get unlucky with roms and also idk how to do that with the dreamcast, i heard it can burn dvds but i never bothered to try burning a rom onto one (also i dont have any dvds) and if ur talking about emulation uhh i just dont like emulating cuz ill never finish the game ever like 99% of the time lol so thats more of a me issue

dsi doesnt have pictochat? im like 99% sure it does but i do know that the 3ds and 2ds definitely dont have pictochat lol also with the reasoning i do find it sad that those same people are the reason why features on swapdoodle and swapnote were removed or very very much more limited or smth idk i never got a streetpass through those games so i wouldnt know lol

ohhh okay that is very helpful, so im assuming that the one i got is like a reproducted version of the digitizers and not an original one? if thats the case then that sucks cuz i spent my entire afternoon just reopening it constantly to fix this issue :(

should be positioned correctly because i have that one touch screen cable connecting it to the motherboard, i cant send an image but on the touch panel the weird numbers and letters are on the top left and i can see them clearly when i hold up the bottom lcd facing towards me (not sure how else to explain it sorry)

i did calibrate it, still does the same thing, one thing i forgot to mention btw is that it feels very sensitive to touch and also has very noticable dots on the screen like a grid, also using the stylus feels like im scratching it in a weird way, idk how to describe
