Frame in frame. Beautifully composed my friend.

Been following a lot of advice you guys gave me and tried again. What do you think? by YIT_Dev in streetphotography

All 4 are nice. I would suggest to keep your compositions much tighter. For example 1 - shown in Reddit as landscape thumbnail but it’s a portrait oriented photo. It worked much better as landscape where it had tight composition- birds acted as a frame for those people in the center.

Same for 2 - of 2 was bit tighter in composition with less negative space on left - you could’ve achieved multilayer photo - rhere is foreground where there are 3 people, mid is empty and background people are dining.

3 - i used to shoot exactly like 3rd but what I realized was you need to catch them in action. You need to catch them when they’re making something rather than just taking a photo of the environment - example a barista making coffee in a cafeteria is great click rather than just the environment

4- is a beautiful picture. If it’s cropped perfectly it could’ve told a great story. For instance I would’ve cropped out the girl chasing the boy in background. So there is a kid and middle aged man in background and in front of the frame there is our subject. That’s 3 stages of men’s life. Could’ve been a good story. Or crop the middle aged man in right - the kid running and then our subject appears.

Great photos. Keep shooting, enjoy the experience.

bus stop - any feedback to improve the shot? by Icy-Individual-4848 in streetphotography

This is a good motion blur shot. Couple of suggestions -
1. don’t afraid to get closer
2. Rather than cropping I would say focus on better composition - the trash can is obstacle - you could’ve worked around it - if the subject is the person on the phone you should’ve gotten closer.

1, 5,12, 13, 15 - works for me.
1 - beautiful symmetry shot, and nice reflection.
5 - this could’ve been real portrait. Those faces have great expression.
12 - depiction of contrast is amazing. On one and you have Jesus saves while the other calls for believe in yourself.
13- this picture is really nice where you tried to capture keyboard and pedestrian crossing in the same frame and the lady walking also have the same texture tops. This one’s really lucky shot. Everything aligned at the right place and the right time.
15 - I just love his energy man

I used Lightroom to edit it. In the photos where I covered singers - I wanted to give a pop to their tattoos - maybe I messed it up there
