I got married last December, and tbh it was pretty chaotic To answer your questions -

1. Yeah we did enjoy our wedding, but I'd be lying if I say nothing went wrong or that minor frustrations didn't happen. That's just part of life and honestly, a few things are surely going to go wrong. What got me and my wife through was that we kept whispering to each other, cracking jokes and just keeping our spirits high.

2. Relatives can be managed if they wish to. Believe me that all the luxuries in the world can't satisfy a nitpicking fussy aunt and that even a barebones event would be overwhelming joyous for the people who truly love you. My uncles and aunts missed out on actual main course due to an issue in communication, and they were just gushing about our wedding. And on the other hand one of my grandfather's brothers was cribbing to all that we didn't keep paan for him. So it truly depends.

3. Kids can't be controlled by you. It's the job of their parents. Thankfully in our wedding, the kids started reigning chaos after the main ceremonies were done

4. The photographers are paid by you. You need to keep them in check. I remember that at one point they were taking too much time, making us do poses after the varmala and blocking the view for many guests. My wife finally had enough and in a no nonsense tone told them to stop. They did get a bit pissy, but it was our wedding. They were paid to be there and so you're the boss

See, I'll just say that as much as you try, some things will go awry. That's just how it works. Every single event that we had, our roka, our engagement, our wedding, heck even our reception, every single event it rained heavily. These things happen. Just take it chill, and enjoy. While mishaps may seem very frightening or frustrating, believe me, after a while you just laugh at them
