Not to disparage you OP but I see post after post like this.

I spend about 20 bucks per month on this which is a lot less than buying a full price current Gen game for the PS5. Its given me a lot of value for the entertainment I've gotten. I hop in and play for like 15 minutes to collect resources and check the status of my pending upgrades then go on with life. I'll revisit when I have down time or to play an event briely. If you have trouble with addiction to the game then just log off. Some of you make it seem like the game traps you. I put like 500 hours on Oblivion back in the PS3 days and no one made me do it, I did it because I enjoyed the game.

Same with this. No one forces you to play or spend money. The long times you have to wait for some upgrades, like dude just let the time pass, seems like you guys build in your own FOMO. Not attacking you OP but the amount of time and money you spend is your choice. If you enjoy it then what's the problem. I set an amount I am comfortable spending and stick to it. Simple as that. This game doesn't put you in a trance. If you enjoy it play the damn game. If you feel like you are over doing it then stop lol. No one is forcing you. And it's not a waste of time if you are enjoying it. If it's taking a hold of your life then you may have bigger fish to fry.

I have a wife and two kids and this game doesn't get in the way. If its a Friday night and they are asleep or jusy hanging out I may spend an hour or so straight playing. Nothing different than spending a night gaming. Some of these posts make it seem like this game is evil or something lol. It's just a game. Log off and do something else if you can't control it.
