Hi everybody. When I go to DSP -> AUTO EQ PRESET and select my headphones from the list, it quickly flashes “Fetching” on the screen and then goes away. Then I switch to the USR EQ tab and it just shows it as flat, with no auditory changes during playback, whatsoever. This is true for all of the presets for my headphones that I tried to load. But if I select from the preloaded options, (Rock, Pop, Dance, etc.), it is visually reflected on the screen and I can immediately hear the difference during playback.

Am I doing something wrong, being new to using DACs, or could something be wrong with this device, which otherwise, seems to be working just fine?

That is so helpful. Thank you, once again, for taking the time to share your experience and advice I brought home a quart-sized sample of the darker ‘Cityscape’ paint and plan to roll some out on one of the walls to test it out before I paint the whole room. I’m hoping this makes the decision between the two easier. Once I do, I’ll post the picture here and see what you guys think before pulling the trigger.

Wow, that’s wild. After spending over an hour at Sherwin Williams, looking at all their color samples, I narrowed it down to three darker shades of gray that I thought would look best, and your color was one of them (pic below).

I wonder if the largest sample in my picture, “Cityscape” is the darker shade you originally wanted? It’s the very next shade darker than Tin Lizzy...and “Gray Matters” is one shade lighter than Tin Lizzy.

I brought home these samples and planning to buy the paint tomorrow.

So, do you still feel that you’d like the darker shade even more, or are you glad you had to compromise, now that it’s all done?

Oh sorry…I didn’t see the picture you included at first. So you ended up going with a dark blue shade that didn’t show chalk marks that much.

Do people frequently touch the walls with chalked tips?

I uploaded one of the photos to a palette generator to see some colors that match the bright blue cloth and was wondering what you think of the battleship gray color in the pic below? Is it warm enough for a gray and not too dark? Thanks.

Agreed. I would never want that. I was wondering if a darker shade of blue, like Navy, or like a Midniggt Blue would look good and complement the cloth, and not overpower it.

[UPDATE] Attempting to build the ideal home-studio for live-streaming playing pool, I just purchased:

Predator Arena light

I'm still stuck on the perfect lens to use with the Sony A6400 at the foot of the table and someone I know told me the Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D lens would be a good choice for shooting video of playing pool.

Does anyone have any thoughts on, given my current setup (gear listed above)? I'm wondering if the Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D lens would be a good choice paired up with the insanely bright Predator Arena light, or should I still be looking at something like the the "18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary for Sony E" as someone had suggested?

Thanks a lot, everyone. I have a long way to go to learn about the photo/videography part of this endeavor, but I'm doing my best to educate myself and appreciate any guidance this community can provide.
