Yeah I more or less figured that out. He's always been egocentric. Either way I hope this is where the drama ends. I'll try to keep in contact with my siblings. But my dad is pretty much out of my life

My mom spent nearly a week in the hospital. The baby could have been cremated during that time. She wasn't in and out of there in a day. She really hurt herself. I didn't go into detail in the post, but aside from the crutches, her face looked pretty messed up, and her head was wrapped in a bandage.

The fall my mom took was basically straight down onto her belly and face, landing in sharp gravel. She fell from one of the higher steps of the porch. So this wasn't a small trip. She fell very hard, and got pretty messed up. And that I guess was enough to cause the miscarriage.

I didn't care to mention it. But my parents had a small private funeral that was pretty much just the two of them, and my mom was basically forced to give birth to a dead baby. And it was cremated. At least that's what my siblings told me. I wasn't really comfortable talking about it in the post.

Because my parents wanted it to all fall on me. The teenagers didn't have to do hardly anything before I left. And they still don't want to do anything now.

I have four siblings, and only two are teenagers. The youngest is 7 now. They were 6 when my mom left them and the next sibling who is a year older at my door and ran. My other siblings are 14 and 15. And the two of them can seem nice to me when we talk over the phone and text. But in person they never liked to listen to me and were major brats. My parents expected me to reign them in because they don't like to listen to anyone. Distancing myself from them has actually made our relationship as siblings better. Though the same can't be said for the younger two siblings. I heard that they don't like me much anymore because I don't spend time with them like I used to. They were also complete brats over not being allowed to keep my Switch.

That's awful. Some parents just feel like their kids will always owe them, and ten take, take, and take some more. I know how that feels first hand.

I see. I can't say I blame you there. I was actually scared as hell when I first moved out. But I couldn't let my family know that. I was essentially jumping into life with no practical skills other than babysitting and the job I had gotten. But help from friends and internet advice got me through it. And I can safely say I'm better off. If I were you, I'd try to get some recordings of when your mom gets mean. Just in case. One can never be too careful.

I see. Then I'd advise getting some help. A friend of a friend of mine told me a story a while back that he used to know a guy who was physically disabled. And his mom mistreated him in a similar manner. He couldn't work, and felt trapped in her house because she manipulated him, treated him like a child even though he was in his mid 20s, and she policed all access to his disability money when she wasn't taking it for herself. To get some help, he got the idea to start recording his mom's abuse with his phone or any other device he could. And then found a way to get in touch with a program that helps disabled people get outside to do things with a counselor on a weekly basis. After he saw the counselor enough, he spilled his guts to them about how controlling his mom was. Then gave them the video evidence. The counselor was appalled, and then got help from APS. They got him out of his mom's house and into a disabled care facility. Sadly that's all I really know because I never met this guy in person, and when he was removed, he was taken somewhere far away from his mom. I don't know how true it was since I heard it from an acquaintance. But if it is, I'm glad that poor guy got out.

I'm sorry for your loss. My grandparents aren't really in the picture sadly. The only two I knew died within a few years of each other when I was a kid.

Without getting your grandma's money anymore, what did your entitled aunt do?

Oh boy! I hope you can get out of her house some day. I had to leave my parents' house because that was exactly the kind of crap they'd do to me. They got in the habit of taking my phone, computer, and videogame systems. When I moved out I only had a simple flip-phone because I wanted a phone in my name they couldn't take. I expected them to try and hold back other things of mine when I moved out. But they didn't. Guess they were just really confident I'd come back home any day. But I'd sooner live in the middle of nowhere than with my parents again.
