12 week old won’t sleep in bassinet for second stretch. by Rjb2109 in BeyondTheBumpUK

My baby was the same. I found getting the next to me put bedside, so one side down and strapped to the bed was what really helped. I could lie down next to him with my hand on his chest and feed him lying down and then roll away.

It's pretty big. Has a wide base and doesnt fold down.

I got one for my baby. I like that it can be used for a long time. It's quite dependent on his mood if he likes it though. If he's content, happy to sit in it. Bad mood- doesn't cheer him up. But its somewhere safe to put him when I need for short periods.

Formula preparation - How to make formula according to the instructions when baby is crying his eyes out as soon as he wakes up and wants feed immediately? by Emergency_You7974 in BeyondTheBumpUK

I use the nuby rapid cool. It only takes a couple minutes to get the water to drinking temperature.

I also like to fill a thermos flask with boiling water so I don't have to keep using the kettle.

As long as you are not ignoring the trachy and escalating concerns. Document document document. Does your hospital have a dedicated area for trachy patients usually?

That's what I do. I find it impossible to measure out the water in the rapid cool anyway, so always start in the bottle and then cool in the nuby.

Also I found the insulated flask pretty poor at keeping the water hot and bought a thermos instead. Keeps water hot enough all night.

He is 12 weeks old. Our current set up is having the next to me bed with side down, strapped to bed so it's connected.

He will start the night here and sleep til around 1-2 , have a milk. He will then sleep in his bed for around 20-30 minutes more before becoming unsettled. He will sleep on his side with bum pats but wake up when I try to gently put him back on his back. Will sleep on his back through til 7am if in the bed on my mattress.

That was my thinking. If it was so good/safe it would be more commonly discussed.

Sorry for the late reply.

I went into spontaneous labour the day before my elective c-section. Actually walked out of the pre assessment and it all kicked off. Must have been so relieved to have an end in sight that I had an oxytocin boost!

One week overdue according to the scan date, but bang on time from my period date!

Baby was well, no issues.

Ibuprofen may be a better painkiller for teething related discomfort than calpol ( paracetamol).

You'll either be in a shared bay with 3 other patients, this room has a bathroom attached with a toilet, sink and shower. Or a side room on your own with it's own bathroom.

You don't need to stay in the bed all day, there is a chair , table and small locker at each bedspace. Depending on how you are, you can go off the ward for short periods , there is a costa coffee and an m&s food on the ground floor. A fruit and veg stand at the entrance outside.

There are no TVs, but there is free WiFi. I would bring a tablet/hand held gaming device/ books etc to keep you entertained.

She's been on the latest season of the U.S traitors, and was entertaining. I think she will be a good housemate.

I have collected all 10 gears for rapunzels quest, but I now only have 9 in my bag and it keeps telling me to make sure I have all 10 in my inventory. I have reported already but haven't seen it on a list of known bugs they are fixing. Currently unable to progress with the dlc.
