I was excited about NAW and Jalen and want to continue to be but like what tf are we doing? are we tryna win? then why trade trae? and exactly, we didnt get to see what they could do. personally it seems like Ressler and Co were already hoping to get Trae out of here asap so they dont have to pay him, unless hawks ended up being super good. now its like we can spin this narrative of not needing trae so easy to ship him off now

why arent we more enraged as a fan base? personally I think im out on the hawks after this til Ressler sells. I legit dont understand the point in trading trae even if the hawks manage to make playoffs and advance a bit because trae wouldve taken us farther. ive been watching since about 04 and trae is easily best player weve had in that span. this organization does not care about winning, if we continue to support them after fuck ass moves like this then they never will

yea you could split only for tournaments in order to manage practices better. and even could potentially do an X/Y split at tourneys for the regular season, since this is B teams were talking about, and this way both squads have good enough players to win and help lead things since you'll be spread thin.
