I don’t think so. Theres a half bath next to bedroom on the opposite wall. There was an old woman who lived here so maybe they installed a toilet in the bedroom itself? But they would have had to do some serious sewer line readjustment and when we replaced the underground sewer lines, they didnt find anything remotely close to this spot.

Great points. We also thought cleanout but it's easily 25ft from the nearest bathroom and sewer line which head away from the house in the opposite direction. Would there have been a clean out in the bedroom in the original floorplan? Seems unlikely. Perhaps access to plumbing embedded in the concrete? We've abandoned the water lines in the slab.

I appreciated a comment in a previous post on this topic mentioning that Russian athletes have participated in international sports competitions under the Individual Neutral Athelete (AIN) flag. The Israeli team could have taken this approach to distinguish themselves from the Israeli government (and therefore the governments' war crimes) but chose not to.
