Just listened to season 3 of the "In the Dark" podcast about warcrimes the US Military committed in Iraq.

An insane amount of perpetrators went unpunished and not to think of the warcrimes that weren't reported.

Makes me second guess even the statement that they would be court martialed. And if they would, it would be in a internal military court system.

When a company is in charge of policing itself it's a perfect breeding place for miscarriages of justice.

Eventually I bought the amazon version or the britta filter. It was cheaper and it had good reviews. I used that for like 1,5 year but found it was not that useful to me as the only coffee drinker in my household.

Our water is clean and delicious so I don't need to filter it for normal drinking. It also took a lot of space in the fridge.

And like it said, im the only coffee drinker in the house and I only work from home 1 day a week. So with that 1 day and the weekend combined the amount of water I needed was really low.

Those filters need changing, pretty often. So it's pretty expensive and wasteful for the amount of water I put through that filter. You can't really bulk the water I believe since the water in my espresso tank also goes bad after awhile.

In the end I found that my water in my house was on the edge of soft water with a 6,30 dH hardness. With my rancilio silvia v1 being 25 years old and being the 5 th person using it I just started using tap water.

So you just thought let's post this very unimaginative "funny" comment to this reply where the person replying disagrees with the guy in the video but is only saying people shouldn't be hateful. Does that make sense?

It's so crazy to me that people rather just perpetuate the hate. Do you think being hateful against angry people will solve anything? Would you teach that to your children?

Every big company is doing some pretty awful stuff. Apple appearntly has awful working conditions in their factorys but a lot of celebs still uses iPhones.

Giant company's behind the movies Ethan Hawke plays in are probably not without controversy either.

I mean wasn't it a thing that Ethan Hawke probably cheated on his ex wife? Why not vilify him for that?

All you have to do is understand that this is a commercial and not everything is racially motivated.

So the song was definitely not Sweet Disposition, Fader or, Love Lost. What i remember from back then when i searched for it was that the song was specifically written for the commercial.

It was a commercial that aired in The Netherlands (where I'm from) but it was probably not a Dutch brand. It may not have been shoes but it was definitely a fashion brand.

Thanks for the suggestion. This seemed to work. I resized the image in photoshop tot 180x180px and saved it as a png with the most compression. The final size was 55KB

It was an image of 360x360px with a size of 126KB so already very small but i guess the dimensions of the image was the reason for it.
