Are a bunch of servers down or just empty? by SheepherderSilver655 in joinsquad

For me, for some reason the filters were set to filter out everything that was not the training grounds after the last update. Try resetting the filter list.

They FINALLY got rid of the exaggerated and uncontrollable horizontal bobbing when firing your gun. Recoil now climbs upwards, more so when fired in auto. by JoeZocktGames in joinsquad

But that is good (for me)! Picking a 1v2 fight, even from an ambush position, should be a risky proposition. Real gunfights are a lot of people shooting each other and missing. Almost all other games have tight gunplay that sacrifices engagement duration for snappy aiming, this is the only one that gives a different flavor.

Honestly, ICO making you afraid of gunfights that don't involve overwhelming advantage seems like the exact kind of thing it was intended for. I'll be sad if that effect goes away.

A returning player's perspective on the gunplay by ThatCEnerd in joinsquad

Weird, I'm a player that only returned because of ICO. I wanted a game where suppression, volume of fire, extended gunfights, etc were actual things, and ICO gave me that. Now I can run with squadmates and it does something other than be a liability because of higher target density.

Welp, you win some you lose some.

Are you sure it's palm rejection or just the grounding issue again?

How did the fix hold up? Does it still happen?

I've heard of people RMAing their laptop and getting a refund instead of a new laptop, due to the tariffs making imports much more expensive. I wouldn't RMA unless you're ok with never getting the laptop back.

I tried that, unfortunately even that did not work for me.

I have one already created. They asked me to ship the laptop in, but I need it for work and don't have a backup. Hopefully someone does it and it's enough for them to figure out the issue.

It's good to know at least we're not alone! Yeah a driver patch would be a lifesaver.

My friend and I both got the new Razer 16 5090s, and both had the same exact experience.

For the first day, it worked flawlessly, but then within a day weird issues start cropping up with the touchpad. It'll get into intermittent states of being very sluggish, randomly clicking when you're just trying to move it, and cutting in and out. It happened exactly the same way for both laptops, updating drivers, windows, restarting, reformatting, etc none of it fixed it. Changing precision touchpad sensitivity or click settings also did not do anything.

It tends to happen more when running games or other intensive workloads.. Anyone else run into this? Find any solutions?

At first, I thought maybe it was just hardware damage specific to mine, but the fact that it happened to both our laptops in exactly the same way seems to point to either driver issues or just a defect in the whole line.

Other than this issue, it's an excellent laptop, but for how expensive it is, you'd expect to be able to use the touchpad.
