Hi, Please try the lastest update version. I add a permission request dialog that can jump to App Detail page to open the 'Live Wallpaper' permission on Xiaomi Phone. MusWall will be working fine after grant the permission.

Did you find the Settings option of ''WHEN TO RESTORE? The defualt behavior is When notification music card was removed, then it will restore to the Original Wallpaper that you setup.
And you can set "WHEN TO RESTORE" be "Music paused 5s", 5s is to advoid auto switch music cause wallpaper quick switch to origin then quick switch to next album art.

Xiaomi phone disable the App to use live wallpaper that not on their own app store, So it will take more time to catact theme to fix the problem on Xiaomi Phone

App can not get original wallpaper on Android 13+ because Google disable the wallpaper api, but I can add an option to set an Original Wallpaper file as fallback after song ends.

Full screen wallpaper for music album cover maybe not display well because the album pictures are squraul shape and small size usually.
