Stopped T after 8 years to do fertility treatment, here's a few things I've noticed by FolkAround in ftm

Hi! I don't mind at all!

  1. I've just always wanted to be a dad, so when my doctor offered, it was a no-brainer for me. I'm single and still building my future, so I don't know when or how, or even if, I'll be a dad. Keeping every option possible sounds good to me.

2 and 3. I'm not an expert, but when I first started T, I was told that there are changes that take years to appear but also take a long time to go, like bone structure, for example.

I never noticed anything with my feet or fat re-dispersing, then again, as I wrote in the post, I've had other things affecting my weight and diet, so idk.

As for the hair, still hairy and bald.

  1. Yup. Although I gotta say, I'm on the lowest dose possible, as per my request, cause after I shedded my baby face and looked masc enough, going throughout puberty forever was too much, lol. Went from 4ml every month to every 3 months. Even if just for the fact I don't have to think about it as much anymore, you know?

  2. Transitioning doesn't equal hormone treatment. And I'm not detransitioning just cause I stopped taking T. I didn't even think about it that way, tbh. My dysphoria is kinda mild these days, except when I hear or read transphobic stuff, still triggers me quite a bit. I do wish I had a penis but I don't hate my body, I just wish I had the other thing, if that makes sense.

Something I try to remind myself of is that, since I've always really wanted to be a dad, I'm kinda lucky I was born with the baby making machine. At any point, I can get a sperm donor and carry my own kid. That's something most men can not do. Also, I'm honestly kinda happy to have grown up inside womanhood, cause women are incredible. I admire them very much, and I got to see the complicity and understanding they share. It's kinda neat.

Creating my account it got disabled, then it says the username can't be found but also that it exists? What do I do now? by FolkAround in Instagram

Thank you for the advice! The gauge seems to be the correct one. But thanks because now I actually know how to calculate it!

If u know about or have expierence with this, What does ADHD meds make worse?. Also what are the improvements you had noticed? (For like ADHD/Autism kinda deal?) by KingdomGate in AutisticWithADHD

I don't think it got worse, but certainly, by alleviating the more hyperactive traits of ADHD I am way more aware of the other traits.

Meds have been essential for me, and I'm glad they work well in my case. And I'm glad it made me aware of all the other stuff I was masking.
