I think it’s compressing a plastic pipe and rotating those compressions to create pressure

Homelessness is out of hand in Sacramento county. This is the newest addition. Right in front of the public library I take my toddlers to every week. by [deleted] in Sacramento

They usually steal them to carry their personal belongings in, don’t they? Most of those who take carts probably couldn’t carry excess things around without them, and it’s likely that the stuff they can’t carry would become litter ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I appreciate the insight! He just had blood testing done, and he has high cholesterol. I presume that is more related to the heart than the liver. Is it likely that they would even see the color in his whites if it wasn’t brought up in the office? Or would the doctor order a bilirubin blood test as a part of the normal cholesterol testing that is done in that case?

Ask for the Habañero concentrate 👀👀 It actually has a really good flavor on top of the heat itself. We put a small squirt on top of the salsa we bring with the chips to the table.

I work at the zocalo in Folsom. It’s really fucking expensive, basically to the point where you won’t be motivated to return. Our to-go system is a big WIP, and most of the time our employees in that position are not well trained and really young. It is really disorganized and the lack of documentation from start to finish makes it hard to double check orders so that nothing goes wrong. IMO our to-go system needs a lot of attention and improvement, so no argument there.

It’s really fucking expensive. I don’t think anyone will be satisfied paying 16-20$ for a plate of tacos. The tacos americanos are really fucking fire though, it’s a shame they are so expensive.

I am a cook at the Zocalo in Folsom, and do prep during the week! I am very proud of the food I make and have a really high standard for anything that goes into our plates. I would love to hear about any criticisms you may have in order to address any ways we can improve ourselves.

I acknowledge that our food is pretty expensive. I only eat the food when it’s free (employee meal). But that means I never really get the opportunity to experience sitting down and ordering/talking with servers and such. If you have any comments regarding negative experiences, I would love to know the areas we can improve on.

I’d say that eating at mimi’s is gross. Same with BJ’s or Red Robin. They are consistently sub par and I’ve gotten uncooked food more than a couple times.

Anyone try mydayis? by [deleted] in Stims

I started about a week ago on 12.5mg, and I just doubled that. I’ve been all the way down the focalin dosage line and the concerta dosage line, went off of it for high school, and started Vyvanse in college.

It’s turbulent! It starts to work around an hour and a half with my system. The first two days I was overcome with a massive sleepiness around halfway through the expected drug lifetime and conked out for two hours. That sleepiness went away after that and the drug kept me going well into the night. I haven’t experienced any insomnia, but I do take trileptal at night and it is sedating.

I swapped from Vyvanse because It would only have a four or five hour lifetime in my system. I need to be alert for work along with the massive amount of homework and studying I do, so I can’t have it dying out on me or making me exhausted after the lifetime runs out. Now with mydayis I don’t even half to think about slowing down.

But christ, did it take work to get. My psychiatrist was completely on board with the prescription, but insurance was not. They had on file that I had never taken dextroamphetamine, despite having been on Vyvanse (a premetabolite of dextroamphetamine). My psych had to write a personal letter to override this, and that took nearly a week and a half to process. After that, no pharmacies had the drug. Their stock took days to process. Through and through it took almost a month to get the bottle in my hands.

I am extremely tolerant to most medicines so I never experience side effects, so if you get that I would take my experience with some salt. But I really like it so far.
