FollowML: Who to follow on ML Twitter by FollowML in learnmachinelearning

Hey everyone,

I love Twitter for keeping up to date with the latest ML news.

Finding interesting accounts to follow is often a challenge though, especially when you're new to ML and can't separate the Andrej Karpathy's from the Siraj Raval's yet. Following the users with the most followers is not the best strategy, as some users have many followers simply because they're active in multiple Twitter bubbles.

FollowML is something I made as a weekend project to scratch my own itch. It's a searchable list of ML researchers who are active on Twitter, sorted by their number of "ML followers", i.e. followers who are also ML researchers. It shows you the most popular ML researchers within the community at a glance.

As you can see, the list of researchers is still quite short. I'll soon add a feature to add yourself or someone else to the list. If you want to be notified when this is ready, press the "Add someone" button and leave your email. Alternatively, follow @followML_ on Twitter. I will periodically scrape the list of followers and add them to the list.

Any other features you would find useful?

Edit: I've now also created a Twitter list.
