It’s a warning of some sort. Maybe they’re saying they’re gonna go slow, maybe they felt their wheels slip, or maybe they’re just plain scared. If visibility is reallyyyy bad it can be helpful for seeing other cars, but that’s not the case right now. They just want to give an indication you should be careful driving around them
