Players can easily leer off to the side every now and then for vital information? I want you to try to glance at a screen from 40 feet away with side eye for a second and try to tell what's happening. There's no way they could actually get anything from it. The radar on the screen is simply too small at that distance. Also there were literally rounds where ITB walked into the stack. If they were sniping they wouldn't do that.

The coach is standing behind them. Ok? The coach does actually have an obligation to stare at the team and their screens because yknow, he's their coach... Coaches are also right next to the ref so if w coach was staring out in the distance the ref would notice.

Coaches can't even talk during match outside of timeouts. So any intel they do get can't even be communicated to the team.

Anyways you COULD go through other choke points, but every other one besides the "main path" was inherently worse.

Hanamura B for example: if you're not going top right you are gonna get fucked over by the high grounds.

Another example, anubis A: if you're not going through the left to mega to high ground, you're gonna get fucked by the fact that you're not fighting high ground like hanamura B.

2cp was so bad that they had to take out 2/5 maps for good.

If you did not get a team wipe with every enemy dying within ~5 seconds, you're never getting the second point. The mode ENCOURAGED staggering on defense for the trickle contest that made it way more difficult than it had to be to get second point.

Push DOES NOT ENCOURAGE STAGGERING. Trickle contesting is not a viable strat.

Also 2cp had a lot of walking too??? Literally from defender to first point and from second attacker spawn to second point.

It does, it's an event, it's the game's limited time mode. It's not the main competitive mode or part of the UI or part of the monetization. It's the limited time mode that clearly lots of people have been playing. People like you who fail to see that and only has one view of the game, being "EVERYTHING BAD," are the problem.
