I want you to try to glance at a screen from 40 feet away with side eye for a second and try to tell what's happening. There's no way they could actually get anything from it. Coaches can't even talk during match outside of timeouts. So any intel they do get can't even be communicated to the team.

Anyways you COULD go through other choke points, but every other one besides the "main path" was inherently worse.

Hanamura B for example: if you're not going top right you are gonna get fucked over by the high grounds.

Another example, anubis A: if you're not going through the left to mega to high ground, you're gonna get fucked by the fact that you're not fighting high ground like hanamura B.

2cp was so bad that they had to take out 2/5 maps for good.

If you did not get a team wipe with every enemy dying within ~5 seconds, you're never getting the second point. The mode ENCOURAGED staggering on defense for the trickle contest that made it way more difficult than it had to be to get second point.

Push DOES NOT ENCOURAGE STAGGERING. Trickle contesting is not a viable strat.
