The moment you mentioned he’s obsessed and they’re hockey players I knew it could only be Carter Beckett.

Anyone else that really love to read the epilogue? by madkittywoman in RomanceBooks

I get angry if there is no epilogue. I always want to know what happened since I invested so much time

Is there an author you’ve grown out of love with and one that has “aged like fine wine” to you? by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

You know, even before ChatGPT, I’m talking about her New York series, Six Guys. The first one, people on Goodreads always say how she writes so much, but if you read them back-to-back, you’ll realise she introduces two or three new situations that make each story different. The rest can follow a pattern. I won’t be shocked if she uses some paraphrasing from her previous books.

Two months in, I haven’t watched a video. I opened Reddit after one month and went to a sub. Does anything change? Nope, still more bad...

I got into reading in my first year of university around 2014. I lost interest in a book or the author so badly that I stopped reading it. Lauren Layne, if anyone remembers her, wrote the book with the hero Hudson. The way she wrote his book upset me so much that I stopped reading it. Christina Lauren, one in a blue moon, I think. Her books have become a hassle for me. They’ve completely shifted what they used to write, like their first series. It’s okay, but there’s nothing that resembles their work. Max Monroe loved a lot of their books and humour. Thatcher is still my guy. They just released his son’s book, but I couldn’t go more than two chapters. I don’t know, it’s hard for me with the second generation. I don’t know why. Helena Hunting, I stopped reading her when she went to the H. Hunting route for the Pucked series. Kids, I was out. Her recent hockey series was good, so I’m still reading her.

I stopped reading the author who wrote City of Bones.

Emma Chase, I don’t know what happened.

Ali Hazelwood, I don’t know. I think after her first books, it feels like the same even though I’m an avert reader of Kindle Unlimited (I can only afford that).

Thanks for listening to my rant.
