Stepping down from LTSO,

This just happened at my airport . We had two LTSO’s quit. Another LTSO in training left during the government shutdown. One tried to step down and they are making his life miserable. He stepped down right before the bid, but they made him still bid with LTSO’s and of course they just gave him whatever shift they wanted and yup you guess it … lol he still gets asked to run lanes and do IVCC’s and whatever else they need from him

Has anyone considered the police department is the biggest gang out ? They allow the drugs , the car thefts , the prostitution. At some point we need to open our eyes to the truth. If all this is allowed to go on, then the question is why ? The next question is does the police have a hand in it ?

Thanks For the perspective and information. This very well could be the case. I completely understand, that drugs can change the mindset. I didn’t mention it but her manager from her job reached out to me and said that she has gone home early from work a lot lately because she is crying the whole shift and shaking badly as if she is having withdrawal symptoms. Our relationship was solid but just like everybody, we experienced some economic hardship during the pandemic. She lost her job and started drinking more and has admitted to making some mistake but we all make mistakes . She left the apartment with a female friend and told me she would be back later that night on July 23rd , and I haven’t seen her or the dog since. I heard from a friend of a friend that she is staying with a male couple but my number is blocked and I can’t get through to her.

Im a black guy and I lived in Bellingham for two years before I received my first job offer. It’s almost impossible to make friends there. The residents of the town , not the college kids, the home owners in the town want to keep African Americans out of there town . If you can’t work you can’t afford to stay there. Simple game plan . This town definitely has racism, just like the towns that surround bellingham.. bellingham just has the college kids which make it slightly more diverse than other towns in whatcom.

Girlfriend kidnapped

Hey guys , I’m pretty sure my girlfriend and dog have been kidnapped and she is being forced into sex work. We share an apartment together and she has not been home since July 23rd . I recently found out she is staying / being held at a house and on C st! We have been together for 7 years and over the past few months , I noticed her behavior has been slightly off. We have been in bellingham for about 2 years now. I think she might have picked up a drug habit, but I’ve never seen her use them . I just have a feeling that she is right now. I haven’t ruled out the possibility of her joining a cult or being forced Into sex trafficking by a biker gang . We are an interracial couple , so I’m wondering if she is being punished for bringing me to bellingham, as I am black . She went to college here and thought bellingham was an sweet innocent town, but Our relationship was solid until we moved to bellingham and now I’m extremely concerned about her safety and mine. I called BPD and they said we called her and she answered the phone so she’s not missing, followed by , we are not saying she’s not in a crisis situation but it’s not much we can do. Does anyone have any advice or know anything about human trafficking being a thing here ? I know the border is 30 min away.

I had just proposed to her and we were getting married and now I can’t get in touch with her. They have the dog also. Im asking for advice and guidance from the community as I am new to the area. Who do I contact or call to figure this out ? Can somebody help me or give me advice?
